Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Procure electrical materials, spares, consumables, and equipment as per organizational requirements.
Source items such as motors, cables, MCC panels, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, PLC components, lighting systems, and electrical maintenance spares.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and finalize purchase orders.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base for electrical materials and services.
Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, and Stores departments for procurement planning.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production downtime.
Monitor inventory levels of critical electrical spares and recommend replenishment.
Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
