About the role

We are looking for a disciplined, detail-driven Purchase Executive to own the day-to-day accuracy of our raw material and packaging material stock. You will assist our Senior Purchase Manager across purchasing, vendor coordination and sampling, and you will be personally accountable for every inward and outward entry in our systems. If the system says we have it, it should be on the shelf.

Key responsibilities

• System entries: Record all raw material and packaging material inward and outward movements in the system daily, so system stock always matches physical stock.
• Inventory ownership: Run weekly cycle counts and monthly reconciliation, explain variances, track batches and expiry (FIFO), and share stock reports on demand.
• POs and GRN: Release purchase orders in the system against approved indents, create GRNs on receipt, and follow up for on-time delivery.
• Invoices: Match vendor invoices with PO and GRN and share them with accounts promptly for clearance.
• Vendors: Maintain strong vendor relationships; collect quotations and support negotiation and new vendor onboarding.
• Sampling: Coordinate raw material and packaging sampling, including printer KLDs, proofs and dummies; maintain a sample log.
• Receiving checks: Verify incoming material against PO specifications (quantity, GSM, print, expiry) before acceptance.

Skills and requirements

• Hands-on experience with any software or google sheets or inventory system for POs, GRNs and stock entries
• Strong Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, formulas)
• Packaging material knowledge - GSM, board grades, printing basics (not mandatory but is plus point)
• Experience in raw material and packaging sampling; food or FMCG manufacturing preferred
• Meticulous, organised and accountable for numbers
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi

Qualifications and compensation

• Education: Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years in purchase, stores or inventory, preferably in a manufacturing setup.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
