Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for procurement management, which involves sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing agri-inputs and other necessary materials. Your role will also include vendor coordination, where you will identify reliable vendors, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Additionally, you will be involved in inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels, track inventory movements, and minimize shortages or excess stock. Your duties will also encompass order processing, where you will prepare purchase orders, verify supplier invoices, and coordinate timely deliveries. You will be expected to work towards cost control and negotiation to achieve cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality. Market research will be a key aspect of your role, as you will need to analyze market trends and competitor pricing to make well-informed purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate for this position should have a B.Sc. in Agriculture or an MBA in Agri-Business. You should have 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in agri-inputs, retail, or FMCG sectors. Key skills required for this role include vendor management, negotiation, inventory control, and proficiency in ERP/Purchase software. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. The work location is in Sonipat, Haryana.
