Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging, and other necessary items.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure quality and compliance.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards.
Process purchase requisitions, prepare accurate purchase orders, and monitor their status to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating with production planning to match supply with demand.
Ensure that procured materials meet the stringent quality standards required for pharmaceutical products.
Implement strategies for cost-effective procurement and track purchasing expenses to optimize budget and maximize ROI.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, policies, and procedures.
Liaise with other departments, including production, quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and finance, to understand needs and ensure smooth operations.
