Key Responsibilities:
Procurement: Receive purchase requisitions, process purchase orders (POs), and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and indirect materials.
Vendor Management: Identify, research, and develop relationships with reliable suppliers; compare offers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with stores/warehouse, and place orders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Quality & Compliance: Inspect purchased goods, resolve discrepancies, and ensure materials meet quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate purchase records, indent registers, and supplier evaluation sheets.
Coordination: Work closely with production, stores, and accounts teams for smooth material flow and related payments.
Requirements & Skills:
Experience: 1 year in procurement/purchase (freshers with relevant skills considered).
Education: Diploma or B.Com.
Skills: MS Excel, basic computer skills, negotiation, problem-solving, good communication (Basic English).
Local Preference: Candidates from Ahmedabad/Gujarat preferred.
