Job Description

As a Purchase professional with more than 5 years of experience, your role will involve supporting routine plant operations by purchasing the required material timely and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying suitable vendors, floating RFQs, and inviting quotes - Collaborating with vendors and users to strengthen RFQs and finalize specifications - Serving as a crucial liaison between suppliers, internal customers, and other departments to resolve issues and streamline processes - Monitoring market trends, benchmarking costs, and developing cost structures - Conducting business and cost analysis to identify potential savings opportunities in coordination with end users - Generating reports and maintaining MIS on key KRAs such as cost savings and delivery targets - Regularly reviewing performance indicators to drive continuous self-improvement and business enhancement - Creating and managing purchase orders, contracts, SLAs, etc. Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). The commodities you will be working with include marketing-related purchases, HR, admin/IT, civil material and services, and other plant consumables.,
