Purchase executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing quality materials at competitive prices, ensuring timely procurement, vendor coordination, stock monitoring, and supporting smooth production and operations in the manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with quality and cost expectations.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and consumables to support uninterrupted production.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Develop and maintain vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs), follow up for delivery, and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, and Quality departments for inventory, GRN, and payment processing.
• Track market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and better vendor terms.
• Handle procurement of engineering spares, packaging material, and other plant-related purchases.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields).
• 4-6 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GST, POs, Invoicing, and ERP software is an advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple vendors and maintain proper documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
