Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to support our procurement operations. The role involves vendor selection, price negotiation, purchase planning, and ensuring timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management & Selection

Identify, evaluate, and shortlist potential vendors based on cost, quality, delivery capabilities.
Maintain and update the vendor database.
Assist in vendor audits and performance evaluations.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
Request, compare, and analyze quotations to ensure best-value procurement.
Prepare and process purchase orders; ensure approvals and timely execution.
Understand purchase requirements from internal teams and plan procurement accordingly.
Monitor stock levels and follow up on pending orders.
Coordinate with suppliers for on-time deliveries and resolve delivery discrepancies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Good communication skills.
Ability to build and manage vendor relationships.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
