Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring timely material availability, cost-effective purchasing, and coordination with vendors and project teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing of construction materials, cement, steel, aggregates, sand, electrical items, and other project requirements.
• Source new vendors, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices and payment terms.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and follow up on material deliveries.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, stores, and accounts teams.
• Verify material requirements, specifications, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotation comparisons, and invoices.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.
• Follow up on pending orders, payments, and supplier issues.

Qualifications

• Any degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in purchase or procurement in the construction or infrastructure industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, purchase orders, vendor management, and inventory coordination.
• Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Relevant experience in construction or infrastructure purchasing.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple project sites and suppliers.
