RFQ management
On time sourcing within targets
Material Cost Reduction through Negotiation, Alternate sourcing, VAVE and Localization
Lead Part development and Supplier development
Driving and ensuring Purchasing deliverables until PPAP and launch
Exploring new suppliers as per Commodity requirements
Managing Engineering changes as per the Program requirements
Vendor rationalization
Managing Raw material price movements
Capacity enhancement

Key Performance Indicators:

On time Sourcing and development
Achieve cost reduction

Person/Competency Specification

Strong knowledge and exposure on costing of Mechanical components

(Casting, Machining, Injection moulding, Stamping, Forging, Sub assy, PCBA, Cable Assy)

Good exposure to APQP / PPAP requirements
Knowledge of IATF16949 QMS
Product knowledge
Electronics exposure

Personal SkillsAttributes:
