Job Description

As a Procurement Officer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Processing orders: You will review purchase requisitions from various departments and ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders. - Managing suppliers: You will research and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and establish strong relationships with vendors. - Controlling inventory: Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations and coordinating stock replenishment as necessary. - Tracking deliveries: You will be responsible for tracking shipments and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods and services. You will also resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise. - Conducting cost analysis: Your role will involve conducting market research, comparing quotes from different suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. - Record keeping: You will be required to maintain accurate and updated purchasing records, files, and data in the company's systems. Additionally, the company requires you to be willing to travel up to 75% of the time for this full-time, permanent position. The work location is in person.,
