Job Title: Purchasing Controller / Procurement Analyst Location: Chennai, Ambattur Department: Purchasing / Controlling Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Purchasing Controller to support strategic procurement decisions through data-driven insights and KPI monitoring. This role involves close collaboration with international colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies and contribute to the companys bottom line. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing Steering & KPI Management: Drive purchasing performance through proactive data analysis and actionable recommendations. Monitor and report on key purchasing KPIs to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization. RPP (Raw Material Price Planning) Reporting & Development: Lead and support RPP-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Continuously improve RPP reporting tools and methodologies. Controlling & Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly business reports, forecasts, and annual plans related to purchasing. Track price developments, supplier structures, and other key metrics. Direct Material Purchasing Coordination: Coordinate controlling activities for Raw Material Index (RMI) in direct material purchasing. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of direct material costs and variances. Cost Control & Variance Analysis: Monitor raw material cost variances and provide guidance for corrective actions. Support initiatives to improve material cost control and supplier efficiency. Qualifications: CA (OR) CMA fully qualified Proven experience in purchasing controlling, procurement analytics, or financial planning. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SAP, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team environment. Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
