Purchase Assistant

As a Purchasing Manager, your primary role is to maintain records of goods ordered and received, negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, and build strong relationships with vendors. You will be responsible for developing a purchasing strategy, reviewing and processing purchase orders, and managing other members of the purchasing team. Additionally, you will evaluate vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price, schedule deliveries, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain records of goods ordered and received - Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers - Build and maintain relationships with vendors - Select prospective vendors and negotiate contracts - Develop a purchasing strategy - Review and process purchase orders - Manage other members of the purchasing team - Evaluate vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price - Schedule deliveries and ensure timely fulfillment of orders - Research and evaluate vendors to compare pricing and services - Coordinate with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs - Ensure quality of procured items and address problems when they arise - Keep up with trends in procurement - Travel to vendor locations - Stay current with purchasing technology trends and oversee purchase and implementation, as necessary Qualifications Required: - Total work experience of 10 years (Preferred) - Proficiency in English and Hindi (Required) - Availability for Day Shift (Preferred) Please note that this is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
