Purchase Assistant

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining records of goods ordered and received, negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers, and building relationships with vendors. You will play a key role in selecting prospective vendors and negotiating contracts, as well as developing a purchasing strategy to optimize procurement processes. In this role, you will review and process purchase orders, manage other members of the purchasing team, and evaluate vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price. You will be in charge of scheduling deliveries, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders, and researching and evaluating vendors to compare pricing and services. Collaboration with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs will be essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of procured items and addressing any problems that may arise. Keeping up with trends in procurement, traveling to vendor locations, and staying current with purchasing technology trends will be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a total work experience of 10 years, proficiency in English and Hindi languages, and availability for day shift work.
