Purchase and Sales Trade Clearance Processing Analyst

Role Overview: As an analyst in the Purchase & Sales department at UBS Financial Services Inc., your main responsibility will be to facilitate trade matching with various industry clearinghouses and contra parties across Equity, Option, UIT and Fixed Income products. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely trade matching and settlement while resolving trade suspense and money discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing daily control reports and reconciliations, handling inquiries from branch personnel, processing trade correction requests, and escalating issues to local team management. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate trade matching with various industry clearinghouses and contra parties - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve trade suspense and money discrepancies - Process daily control reports and reconciliations - Familiarize and deepen knowledge of platforms used: RTTM, ACT, ORF, GEMS, Obligation Warehouse, OMGEO, OCC - Handle inquiries from branch personnel promptly - Process trade correction requests - Escalate issues to local team management - Participate in team meetings to share best practices and volume trends - Ensure SOPs are up to date and reviewed on an ongoing basis Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Able to multi-task and interact with multiple business partners simultaneously - Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced environment - Work effectively in a team environment - Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Strong communication and interpersonal skills About the Company: UBS Financial Services Inc. is a leading firm in the financial services industry, dedicated to providing exceptional wealth management service and innovative solutions to clients.
