Develop and execute purchase plans based on project requirements, timelines, and inventory levels.
Source and procure solar PV modules, inverters, electrical equipment, cables, structures, and other project materials.
Analyze material requirements in coordination with project, design, and stores teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders in line with company policies.
Maintain and update vendor database and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Monitor purchase budgets, material cost trends, and optimize procurement for cost efficiency.
Coordinate with logistics and site teams for timely dispatch and delivery tracking.
Prepare and maintain reports for purchase status, pending deliveries, and supplier performance.
Support management in developing long-term vendor partnerships and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure adherence to ISO / QMS / ERP systems and company procurement guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Experience: 4 to 5 years in purchase or planning, preferably in the solar EPC or electrical industry.
Technical Knowledge: Familiar with solar components (modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.) and electrical equipment specifications.
Software Skills: MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Tally), and procurement tools.
Core Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, analytical and planning skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation abilities.
