Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Process Engineer to support the design,

development, and optimization of assembly lines and special purpose machines (SPMs) for

automobile pump manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

automotive pump assembly processes, machine design, and tooling including jigs and

fixtures, along with hands-on experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3D/2D design

software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize pump assembly processes for automotive applications.
Conceptualize and design assembly lines, SPMs, and semi-automated/manual

workstations.

Develop jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other tooling to support efficient and precise

assembly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, R&D) to improve

productivity, quality, and ergonomics.

Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of assembly equipment and SPMs.
Prepare detailed process documentation, including PFMEA, SOPs, and control plans.
Conduct time and motion studies to enhance process efficiency and reduce cycle

times.

Evaluate and integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems in machine designs.
Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PROE for designing components, assemblies, and

tooling.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
