Pump Fitter

To install, maintain, repair, and service industrial pumps and associated piping systems to ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, align, and commission different types of pumps (centrifugal, submersible, reciprocating, screw, gear, etc.).
• Carry out routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps and related equipment.
• Dismantle pumps, replace worn-out parts (seals, bearings, impellers, gaskets), and reassemble with proper alignment.
• Perform pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and fitting pipes, valves, and flanges.
• Conduct troubleshooting for pump failures, leaks, unusual noises, or performance issues.
• Ensure correct alignment and balancing between pump and motor.
• Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and spare parts used.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures while working on site.
• Support other maintenance activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements (With or Without Experience):

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or equivalent.
• Candidates without formal qualification but with relevant skills may also be considered.

Experience:

• Fresher: Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Experienced: 1–5 years of experience in pump fitting, installation, or industrial maintenance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of industrial pumps and piping systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment.
• Basic understanding of safety practices.
• Good physical stamina and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with ability to follow instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
