Job Purpose

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, turning, or grinding) according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Load raw materials and tooling, ensuring correct alignment and positioning.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM if required).
• Ensure finished components meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality standards.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and daily machine checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Record production data, job reports, and downtime logs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to improve machining processes and reduce rework.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines (Fresher with training can also be considered).
• Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming basics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments and precision tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in shifts and under production deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
