The Senior social media Specialist having expertise in the development and execution of social media and public relations strategies to elevate brand presence, engage key audiences, and support business objectives. With 7-8 years of experience, this role demands strategic thinking, content leadership, data-driven campaign management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and implement integrated social media and PR strategies aligned with brand and marketing goals.
• Create, curate, and oversee high-quality content across multiple social platforms to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty.
• Manage social media calendars, content scheduling, and campaign execution with a focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
• Analyse social media and PR campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and regular reports to stakeholders.
• Engage with online communities, respond effectively to audience interactions, and foster strong relationships with influencers, bloggers, and media contacts.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across channels.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and reputation management on social media platforms.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in social media, digital marketing, and public relations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7-8 years of progressive experience in social media management
• Bachelors degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• Proven expertise in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO fundamentals, and social media advertising platforms.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data, translate insights into strategies, and report impact to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive public relations issues on social media.
