Role Description

This is a part-time, non-paid remote role for a Public Relations Intern. The Public Relations Intern will assist in drafting and distributing press releases, managing media relations, and developing strategic communication plans. The intern will be involved in daily tasks such as monitoring media coverage, supporting event planning, and engaging with stakeholders to promote She Breaks Barriers' mission and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting Press Releases and working in Public Relations
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Media Relations and maintaining media contacts
• Strategic Communications skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Enthusiasm for empowering women and supporting gender equality initiatives
• Educational background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
