As a part of our growing team of professionals, we are looking for a full-time hybrid Public Relations Specialist to join us at our Bengaluru office, with the flexibility for some remote work. As a Public Relations Specialist at Star Squared PR, your primary responsibility will involve developing and executing public relations strategies, creating and disseminating PR assets, cultivating relationships with media outlets and journalists, and overseeing social media channels. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. Additionally, you should have at least 1 year of experience in PR or a related field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and proficiency in identifying and responding to media opportunities effectively. Experience in social media management, content creation, crisis communication, and working under tight deadlines will be advantageous. Your responsibilities as a Public Relations Specialist will include driving strategies for clients and the business unit, supervising and executing various campaigns in alignment with the company's vision, maintaining relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers, crafting and distributing press releases, articles, speeches, and other communication materials, organizing events such as press conferences and product launches, monitoring media coverage and public sentiment, engaging with stakeholders through various platforms, ensuring messaging consistency across departments, developing crisis management plans, and evaluating the efficacy of PR campaigns.
