Job Description for Public Relations Executive Location: Andheri East Monday to Friday The primary responsibility of the PR Executive is to create and maintain a favorable image for GJSCI by various on-line and off-line PR activities to communicate programs, accomplishments and points of view of the company. The successful candidate will need to have exceptional writing and editing skills. Duties & Responsibilities: • Develop and implement public relations strategies and plans • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly and quarterly basis. • Manage relations with trade and main stream media and handle media requests. • Write and edit press releases, speeches and coordinate trade and public events and appearances. • Manage the organization’s social media presence and direct programs to improve social media recognition and reputation and website management. • Identify target audience and create strategies to effectively engage them. • Oversee internal PR activities, such as internal newsletters and corporate events. • Organizing events, symposiums and carrying out the necessary tasks to ensure a successful event. Qualification: BSc /BA/BMM or similar educational qualification in Public Relations, communications or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in a PR role. Experience in Managing media relations (online, broadcast and print) Proficient in MS Office and Social Media. Strong communication skills. Background in researching, writing and editing publications. Familiarity with video/photo editing is a plus Ability to work under pressure. Flexibility to work on any other assignment as per the organizations’ requirement.
