Position- PU Manager (Producer unit manager) (Male Candidate) Location- Merta Road (Rajasthan) Education qualification - Graduation or post-graduation in Agricultural degree Experience – 2 – 4 years Salary - 25K to 30K per month JOB DESCRIPTION: Planning and strategizing the project activities, priorities, focus area of work and Implementation in discussion with the LLP and in line with Better Cotton guidelines To maintain cordial business relationship with the farmers and extension team through constant meetings. To manage and support the extension operations of the organization on a day-to-day basis including but not limited to training, demonstration, farm visits, data verification and data validation. Providing training and demonstrations to farmers on technical information and Better Cotton Standards Principles & Criteria to achieve desired yield and quality is included. Arranging village meetings to ensure farmers are kept informed about new technical advancements in Better Cotton farming and related certification processes. Monitoring the LG training, Lead farmer training, women and worker training conducted by the Field Facilitator. Supporting farmers and other stakeholders of the project in adopting best practices as per the Better Cotton Principles and Criteria. Engaging in IP, Better Cotton trainings, workshops, and meetings, and disseminating the knowledge to the ground level. Providing technical training and demonstrating various techniques to increase farmers’ awareness and understanding of improved practices Cross-verify and validate all the field-level data collected by the field facilitator. Timely Submission and Maintenance of all PU-level project documents as per Better Cotton requirements. Regular field visits for monitoring and evaluation of field activities done by Field Facilitators. Evaluating the Field Facilitator and Project Activity. Reporting and providing regular reports to the Project Coordinator/IP representative at specified intervals and in the requested format, detailing operational activities.
