PTC Cloud Service NOC Engineer

As a member of our team at PTC, you will be working in a dynamic environment that operates 24x7 with rotational shifts. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing and troubleshooting monitoring platform alerts and customer tickets to ensure the environment runs optimally, following technical knowledge articles for remediation. - Collaborating with various teams to ensure unified and efficient incident response. - Executing complex technical fixes and minimizing incident impact based on technical knowledge articles. - Contributing to customer success by meeting operational service level agreements (SLAs) and adhering to ISO standards. - Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on incident status and remediation efforts. - Contributing to the creation and enhancement of technical knowledge articles. - Mentoring junior team members in product knowledge and technical expertise. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Computer Science. - 2-6 years of experience. - Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems Administration. - Awareness or experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes on a cloud platform. - Awareness of Oracle or SQL RDBMS. - Awareness of cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure or AWS. - Experience with IoT Platforms like ThingWorx and IoT Hub is a plus. - Basic understanding of web technologies like Apache. - Awareness/experience with monitoring tools such as Catchpoint, Zabbix, Sumologic, Pagerduty, Icinga, or similar. - Awareness/experience using a Ticketing System like Salesforce or Service Now is a plus. - Ability to quickly analyze incidents, prioritize tasks effectively, and remain calm under pressure. - Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
