Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Parenting Psychologist to support parents and caregivers in navigating the challenges of parenting. The role involves assessing family dynamics, providing psychological counseling, and developing individualized parenting strategies to promote healthy child development and emotional well-being within families. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments of parents, caregivers, and family systems. Provide counseling and therapeutic support to individuals or couples on parenting issues. Guide parents in managing behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns in children. Develop and deliver evidence-based parenting programs or workshops. Support families dealing with specific challenges (e.g., divorce, single parenting, trauma, neurodiversity). Collaborate with pediatricians, child psychologists, schools, and social workers where appropriate. Educate parents on age-appropriate developmental expectations and effective discipline techniques. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in parenting psychology. Provide crisis intervention or referrals to other professionals when necessary.
