Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher (PRT) – Mathematics to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a child-friendly approach, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging for students from Classes I to V.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate mathematics lessons to students of primary classes.
• Use innovative teaching methods to foster interest in mathematics and build strong conceptual understanding.
• Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum and CBSE/ICSE guidelines.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress through classwork, tests, and observations.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
• Incorporate technology and visual aids in classroom teaching.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or related field.
• NON D.El.Ed OR B.Ed/ D.El.Ed or B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferred).
• Strong command of basic mathematical concepts.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about teaching and working with young children.
• Familiarity with activity-based and student-centered learning approaches.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum for primary level.
• Ability to handle digital classroom tools (Smart Boards, online learning platforms, etc.).
• Creativity in designing math-related activities and games.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching.
