PRT Maths

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Mathematics Teacher (PRT) to teach students from Classes I to V. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts at the primary level, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Math lessons to students of Classes III–V as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Design and implement lesson plans that are aligned with learning objectives and curriculum standards.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, learning materials, and resources to meet students' diverse learning needs.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain student records including grades, attendance, and behavior.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes discipline, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other collaborative school activities.
• Use digital tools and educational technology (e.g., smart boards, online platforms) to enhance teaching and learning.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in teaching and pedagogy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• B.Ed.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school at the primary level preferred.
• Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching young learners.
• Creativity in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience using activity-based learning and concept-based teaching.
• Ability to manage both online and offline teaching formats.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
