As a PRT (Computer) at our school located in Sector 70A, Gurgaon, you will be responsible for various key aspects related to the educational and technological development of primary school students. Your role involves designing engaging ICT lessons that adhere to the school's curriculum, incorporating technology concepts, coding, and digital citizenship into lesson plans. In the classroom, you will deliver interactive ICT lessons tailored to the primary school level, focusing on enhancing digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills through practical activities and projects. Furthermore, you will integrate a range of technology tools and educational software to facilitate effective teaching and learning processes, ensuring students are well-versed in essential computer skills and internet safety practices. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment is crucial, encouraging student curiosity and exploration of technology while utilizing diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles. You will be responsible for assessing students" understanding of ICT concepts through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and keeping parents informed about their progress. Effective classroom management, collaboration with colleagues to integrate ICT into interdisciplinary projects, and active participation in professional development opportunities to enhance your ICT teaching skills are essential aspects of this role. Maintaining open communication with parents regarding students" progress in ICT and conducting parent-teacher meetings to emphasize the importance of ICT education will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field, along with teaching certification or relevant teaching experience at the primary level. A strong understanding of basic ICT concepts, technology integration in primary education, and excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
