What will you be responsible for?

- Oversee and manage the functionality, availability, and configuration of Vulnerability Management tools, ensuring scanning policies align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.

- Ensure Vulnerability Management tools are fully and effectively implemented across the organization's infrastructure.

- Conduct routine health checks on Vulnerability Management tools and platforms to ensure proper functionality, including scan accuracy, data integrity, and system performance.

- Monitor and track tool availability, performance metrics, and resource usage to identify and address potential issues.

- Identify gaps in the current vulnerability management workflow and recommend automation or policy changes to enhance efficiency.

- Ownership of vulnerability remediation efforts by collaborating with internal stakeholders, including application owners and technology teams, to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

- Provide clear and concise security reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Your work week look like?

- Execute Comprehensive Vulnerability Scans across the organization's infrastructure.

- Expand the scanning scope to include additional systems, endpoints, or networks as needed.

- Integrate Vulnerability Management tools with external systems (e.g., CMDB, SIEM) to ensure enriched asset context, automated remediation, and exception management.

- Develop and refine Vulnerability Management dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights, remediation progress, and risk status to technical teams, management, and auditors.

- Generate customized reports to communicate vulnerability findings, remediation progress, and risk status, tailoring formats (e.g., executive summaries, detailed technical reports, or compliance-specific documentation) to meet organizational needs.

- Automate report generation where possible to improve efficiency and consistency.

- Create queries to filter and prioritize vulnerabilities based on criteria such as severity, affected systems, or business units.

- Resolve issues with Vulnerability Management tools, such as scan failures, connectivity problems, false positives, or integration challenges.
