Job Description

As an Associate Manager in Proposal Management within the Research Services Business Unit at Syngene International Ltd., your primary role will involve creating and delivering high-quality proposals related to Discovery Services and Translational & Clinical Research. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking complete end-to-end responsibility for the quality of proposals in the Research Services space, considering scope and time commitments. - Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals to the business development team. - Collaborating with technical and business development teams to establish competitive pricing. - Handling requests for information and preparing responses for customers. - Gathering inputs on scope of work, assumptions, and effort from the technical business unit team. - Coordinating with third-party vendors for quotations or information as required. - Updating the deal tracker to reflect the status of ongoing deals. - Facilitating the execution of contractual agreements within set timelines. - Supporting the transition of newly awarded deals to the project management team. - Contributing to the content library by submitting new content or updates through the official process. - Ensuring compliance with workplace environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements for individual and team safety. - Imparting EHS measures through training and ensuring adherence within the team. Qualifications required for this role include: - M.Tech/Master's degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences, with an MBA being desirable. Technical/Functional Skills: - Proficiency in the Research Services space. - Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. - Demonstrated computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Effective planning, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Capability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior management. - Knowledge of pre-sales and proposal management functions. - Familiarity with environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices. Experience: - 08 to 12 years of experience in Pharma Contract Research Organization (CRO/CDMO), with a focus on the commercial aspects of business. Previous experience in Proposal/Project management or Pre-sales functions is advantageous. Behavioral Skills: - Attention to detail. - Team management. - Pro-active team working capability.
