Proposal & Costing Engineer

The Proposal & Costing Engineer will be responsible for daily working on Equipment cost, Project costing, and System costing. You will be required to make the costing of standard equipment and obtain approval from the management. Ensuring service and application support to assigned customers, identifying and capitalizing on project business opportunities from existing clients, and managing relationships with customers as assigned by management will be part of your role. You will also be responsible for forecasting and reporting sales, trends, and competitor activities. As a Proposal & Costing Engineer, you will receive new enquiries from customers through emails to verify technically, prepare costing, and create offers. It is essential to maintain documents and records as per the QMS procedure of the department. You will attend negotiation meetings with both management and customers. The offers for EPC projects should be sent within 10-12 days and for Equipment within 4-5 days. Required Skills: - Sales skills - Leadership skills - Presentation skills - Negotiation skills - Should be a smart person Educational Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical/Chemical engineering from a reputed institute. Work Experience: Minimum 01+ years of experience in core costing of chemical process equipment, evaporators, pressure vessels, bio fermenters, etc. Primary Internal Interactions: Senior Management, employees of all levels. Primary External Interactions: All Customers.
