Role Overview: As a manuscript reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing manuscripts and digital content to identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors. Your focus will be on maintaining consistent quality in language, tone, and formatting, ensuring alignment with visual elements like diagrams and illustrations. Key Responsibilities: - Verify the accuracy of educational terms, definitions, and instructional content, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. - Cross-reference references, citations, and educational content with reliable sources to maintain factual accuracy. - Adhere to the company's editorial style guide for language usage, citation formats, and subject-specific terminology. - Collaborate with authors, editors, and instructional designers to clarify ambiguities and provide feedback on content structure, readability, and coherence. - Ensure compliance with copyright laws, proper citation of sources, and fair use policies. - Check for potential biases or insensitive content, aligning with the company's standards for diversity and inclusion. - Perform a final review of documents or digital content before publication, spot-checking for typography, fonts, and visual consistency.
