Your responsibilities will include reviewing manuscripts and digital content for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors. It is essential to maintain the competent quality of books by ensuring consistency in language, tone, formatting, and the alignment of text with visual elements. Your role will also involve verifying the reliability and truthfulness of content by cross-referencing educational terms, definitions, and instructional content with reliable sources. You will collaborate with authors, editors, and instructional designers to address ambiguities or inconsistencies in content, providing feedback on structure, readability, and coherence, especially in materials designed for diverse learning levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all content adheres to the company's editorial style guide, educational guidelines, copyright laws, and standards for diversity and inclusion. It is crucial to perform a final review of documents or digital content, spot-checking for any remaining issues related to typography, fonts, and visual consistency before publication. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.
