Projects Audit

As an Internal Audit professional in the Steel Manufacturing Industry at Hazira, you will be responsible for focusing on Risk Advisory, Internal Audit, and Project-related activities. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Conduct Internal Audit Assurance for Projects following the IA methodology. - Execute audits under the guidance of IA Head Projects. - Maintain detailed audit working papers and evidence. - Ensure timely delivery of audits. - Prepare audit queries and preliminary reports for review. In terms of Stakeholder Management, you will collaborate with middle management for fieldwork, regularly coordinate with IA Head Projects/Sr. Lead during the audit cycle, and assist in final discussions and reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor (CIA). Regarding Internal Audit Governance, you will support audit finalization with IA Head and contribute to creating high-quality presentations for management and Assurance Review Committees. For Self-Development, you are expected to attend and implement learnings from training programs, monitor and evaluate personal development, and engage in professional development initiatives within the IA function. The skills and knowledge required for this role include a profound understanding of Internal Audit frameworks, hands-on experience in auditing large capex projects, in-depth knowledge of project KPIs, financials, and governance frameworks, as well as strong business and commercial acumen. Qualifications required for this position are: Mandatory: BE/BTech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or CA/MBA. Preferred: Certification in Project Management/Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
