Project Scientist at FITT, IIT Delhi: Biopolymer Barrier Coatings for Sustainable Packaging

Role Requirement

• Background in material development, experimental and analytical work, with specific expertise in one or more of the following: film preparation and characterisation, emulsion and surface science, polymer coatings, paper-based barrier packaging.
• Should have a keen interest and temperament to work on a translational project with close industry and startup collaboration. This will require active involvement in bench-scale to pilot-scale development.
• Should have excellent research organisation and technical writing skills, and show a high level of commitment.
• Should be ready to join immediately. Availability required from January 20 or earlier.

Qualifications

PhD in Chemical Engg. /Textile Engg. /Material Sci. & Engg. /Chemistry /other allied disciplines, having 1st class or equivalent in all degrees.

Duration and Fellowship amount

6 months, full-time. Extendable up to 12 months on mutual consent.

Fellowship*: Rs. 62,350/- + 18,705/- HRA.

(*Bonus honorarium up to Rs. 15,000/- per month)
