Project Quality Manager for STATCOM/Power Quality Projects

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring support to the project management team regarding all quality related issues on projects to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve leading the implementation, maturity assessment, and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the project. As a Specialist Professional, you are a recognized subject matter expert in the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Your responsibilities will typically include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from the manager, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals. You will face difficult and often complex problems in your role. Key Responsibilities: - Cooperate with the customer on Project Quality issues and ensure ownership of actions to resolve it - Enable and coach all project team members to evaluate risks, problems, and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view - Analyze transferability of experience between projects and plan Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk - Collaborate with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities - Apply project quality procedures and plans and ensure appropriate implementation and compliance from the project team - Certify effective internal controls system (project, supply, site) is in place - Perform audits on project delivery and ensure the use of Quality data analytics - Act as an advocate for the Customer by ensuring the Voice of the Customer is represented within the project for all quality matters during execution - Set up the Project Quality Plan/Quality Management System for the project - Work with project management teams to prevent mistakes and defects during project execution - Ensure effective internal controls system are in place - Drive quality culture by influencing and engaging the project team for being responsible for their job's quality - Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - A university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial, Electrical Engineering is preferred - Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Project Quality Management professional in reputed Engineering/EPC companies comparable to Hitachi Energy business portfolio - Proven experience in leading and developing global programs - Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment - Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making - Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills - Broad knowledge of organization/area of operations - Strong communication skills and ability to manage a large number of stakeholders - Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Excel, Access, etc.) and Office 365 collaborative tools - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required (Note: Any additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description.),
