Project Planner

As a Planner at TechnipFMC, your role will involve providing Material Planning analysis and support to the Research, Engineering, Manufacture, and Supply Chain (REMS) Organization in accordance with Global Planning Processes and Policies, as well as local Planning Procedures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and expediting Material Demand, influencing Material Supply Strategy, performing Commodity Planning, and offering Material Analysis, Interpretation & Intervention to support Master Production Schedule(s) commitments. Furthermore, you will provide advice and guidance to other functions related to Material Management. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing and approving new material master extensions or changes in the ERP system for externally procured or subcontracted materials within your responsibility. You will validate the use of project vs common stock, work on commodity planning in collaboration with procurement and engineering, analyze MRP and take actions on exception messages, release purchase requisitions to buyers, and provide progress reports for externally procured materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Consumption Based Planning and ensuring proper management of inventory levels based on planned activity levels and product mix. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess a minimum Degree Level qualification in Business Administration, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a Technical Discipline, along with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience. It is essential to have an understanding of Lean manufacturing and processes, appreciation and understanding of the Engineering Execution Process (EEP), and practical understanding of Engineering BOMs. Moreover, additional skills such as advanced proficiency in using SAP MM module, Primavera P6, general analysis and reporting skills, expert-level professionalism in handling complex issues & projects, and strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) will be beneficial for this role.
