Overview:

Cyber Security (CS) is a critical function within Standard Chartered Bank. The CS team is instrumental in ensuring the Banks ability to soundly meet its commitments to multiple internal and external stakeholders as well as to maintain an appropriate risk profile for the business we conduct. Furthermore, the CSS team plays a significant part in the Banks ‘Here for Good’ vision and brand promise.

The need for this capacity has strengthened over time and is a principle concern for our regulators and the communities we operate in. Our success as a Bank is dependent on getting our Risk Management and Security capabilities right to position the Bank for success.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Delivery:

• Deliver the plan feature/scope for every quarter Aligned with defined Milestone/CGL/KPI/Risk commitments
• Manage RAIDs, Trade-offs
• Manage & assist PO with Book of Work & requirements prioritization
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) when necessary.
• Responsible for releases and path to production activities
• Plans and participates in Chapter Syncs, Chapter Transformation Check-ins, Hive, Squad and cross Chapter collaboration events.
• Financial Management. Manage financial forecasts for investment projects/initiatives with highest degree of accuracy.
• Where required, manage vendor delivery and resources to ensure milestones are met
• Management of project resources – escalations, task allocation, resourcing

Stakeholder Management:

• Manage All internal and external Stakeholders.
• Aligns with the delivery needs of the Hive/Squad, works with PO, Squad members and relevant stakeholders to deliver the Product Backlog
• Governance: Partner with PO, PMO on Portfolio & Financial Management, Change & Vendor/RFP management.
• Ensures all artifacts and deliverables are as per the required standards and policies (E.g. SCB Governance Standards, ESDLC etc)
• Raise impediments and blockers proactively and work with the SM and PO to get them resolved
• Administrative
• Timesheet, OKR, Milestone, status report, Hiring support.
• People & Strategy:
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of their Chapter by leveraging their skillset and expertise
• Adheres to common practices to mitigate risk in their respective domain.

• Technology delivery partners (CDO, TSA, DFT, Service Now, etc)

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Industry certifications will be a plus e.g. PMP, CSM, CISM
• Experienced in delivery of Cyber Security Projects (> 5 years)
• Familiarity with tools for PM, collaboration and delivery - Clarity, Confluence, ADO
• Understanding of Cybersecurity and information security concepts
• Knowledge in the areas of Vulnerability Management and Infrastructure Security is a plus
• Excellent written, oral communication and reporting skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
