Description
Role & Responsibilities: Lead and manage the execution of transmission line projects (132kV and above) from site mobilization to commissioning. Plan and monitor construction activities including survey, tower erection, stringing, and commissioning. Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources and materials. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations. Manage and guide site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to optimize productivity. Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, DPRs, and MIS for internal and client reporting. Interface with clients, vendors, and statutory bodies for approvals and inspections. Implement HSE standards and ensure zero incident safety culture on-site. Handle project documentation, RA bills, measurements, and material reconciliations. Manage project planning, scheduling, and execution for transmission line projects. Oversee site preparation, civil works, electrical installation, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during construction phases. Monitor progress against milestones and report on project status to stakeholders. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 7 to 12 years of field experience in execution of transmission line projects (132kV and above). Proven experience in tower erection, stringing, and project handover. Sound understanding of transmission line standards, safety norms, and quality compliance. Proficient in project planning tools like MS Project / Primavera is an advantage. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Willing to relocate and work at project sites as required.
