Project Manager- PLM

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage PLM implementation, migration, and upgrade projects across multiple

geographies.

• Engage with customers to capture business requirements, prepare project plans, and define

success criteria.

• Manage PLM customization, configuration, integration, and validation activities in

coordination with solution architects and development teams.

• Design and implementation of:

• CAD Data Management
• Change Management workflows
• BOM Management
• Document Management
• Release processes and digital thread use cases

• Ensure effective integration with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.

• Coordinate technical and functional teams in Agile or Waterfall environments.

• Perform risk management, change control, and escalation handling during all phases of delivery.

• Validate alignment of project deliverables with client expectations, budget, and timeline.

• Maintain detailed project documentation including SOWs, schedules, issue logs, test plans, and

release notes.

• Conduct training, user adoption programs, and post-go-live support for client teams.

• Support business development activities including proposal writing, demos, and effort

estimations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• 815 years of total experience, with at least 4+ years in PLM project management.

• Proven experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting PLM platforms like:

• Siemens Teamcenter
• PTC Windchill
• (Experience in ENOVIA / Aras / Agile PLM is a plus)

• Good understanding of PLM data models, workflows, roles, and security policies.

• Strong exposure to CAD integrations (NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

• Hands-on understanding of Teamcenter ITK, RAC, AWC, BMIDE, or Windchill APIs, Info*Engine

is preferred.

• Familiarity with SaaS-based PLM platforms, cloud deployments, and DevOps for PLM is a plus.

• Knowledge of enterprise integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, XML, middleware) is

desirable.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with technical teams and client

stakeholders.

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred.

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with offshore-onsite coordination.
