Project Manager- MDG

The main purpose of this role is to support the development and implementation of technical solutions aimed at monitoring and enhancing data quality enterprise-wide, particularly focusing on SAP R/3 and S/4HANA systems. Your responsibilities will include assisting business units in establishing Master Data standards and elevating the quality of Master Data in ERP, MDG, CRM, and other consuming systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, comprising business users, data owners, and IT teams, to ensure that technical solutions take into account end-to-end processes. Your involvement will be pivotal in digital transformation projects to guarantee that project deliverables meet established quality standards. To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess a completed degree in business informatics, information technology, or a relevant technical field, combined with a strong interest in master data and data quality. A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience is required, with prior experience in a consultant capacity being advantageous. Proficiency in SAP Material Master Data, Business Partner, and related processes is essential, along with a sound comprehension of SAP data and system architecture. You should have the ability to create and articulate structured frameworks effectively and possess a keen interest in the latest technological advancements, coupled with a good grasp of the technical feasibility of data-oriented products and services. Demonstrated experience in agile project management and a proven track record of success in agile projects are crucial. It is preferred that you have participated in data projects from start to finish, encompassing data cleaning, integration, modeling, and productization. Excellent communication skills in both English and German are expected.
