Project Manager - Electrical Projects

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee and successfully deliver electrical projects for both residential and commercial clients within the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all phases of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and objectives.
• Oversee the work of electrical contractors and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience 7-12 as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry, with specific experience in both residential and commercial projects in the Mumbai region.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards in India.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with local Mumbai regulations and permitting processes is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and green electrical solutions.
