Position Overview

Project Manager / Asst. Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

  • Define and enforce project control criteria ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Lead cross-functional teams including design professionals, site delivery teams, and technical specialists
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers and junior team members

Client & Stakeholder Excellence

  • Serve as primary strategic contact for high-value clients and complex projects
  • Lead prospect meetings and engage corporate resources to secure large and complex deals
  • Facilitate seamless communication among all stakeholders including clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation and progress reports
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the entire project lifecycle

Vendor & Resource Management

  • Coordinate with vendors ensuring timely delivery of materials and services
  • Establish and maintain strategic vendor relationships while monitoring performance standards
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects

Sustainability & Compliance Excellence

  • Lead sustainable building practices and green construction initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with LEED and WELL certification requirements
  • Drive circular economy practices including waste reduction, material reuse, and recycling programs

Quality & Process Excellence

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and knowledge management systems
  • Implement proactive risk management strategies to minimize disruptions
  • Recognize opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes to increase effectiveness.
  • Implement agile and hybrid project management methodologies for enhanced flexibility.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Professional courses/Degree/Certification in Construction management/Project management from reputed Institutions like NICMAR/RICS preferred.
  • 4-10 years of proven experience in corporate/commercial interior fitout projects
  • Track record of working in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project for project planning and resource management
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL) and green building principles
  • Proficiency in cloud-based collaboration tools and digital-first project workflows
  • Understanding of EPC requirements and environmental compliance for commercial fitouts
  • Experience with AI tools, GenAI platforms, and digital project management solutions
