Job Description

Role & responsibilities

7+ years of project management experience in technology transformation, with at least 4 years in banking or financial services.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of legacy application modernization projects for BFSI clients, ensuring timely execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and achievement of business outcomes.
Proven delivery of largescale app and data modernization (.NET, SQL Server, cloud migration, reporting) migrating to containerized .NET or Python applications;
Develop and maintain the overall project plan, timeline, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log.
Coordinate mobilization, discovery, deep-dive analysis, and roadmap phases across workstreams.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and governance meetings (Steering Committee, Working Groups, Stand-ups).
Manage access to environments, documentation, and SMEs; escalate and resolve blockers.
Track progress against milestones, deliverables, and success metrics; ensure quality and completeness of all project artifacts.
Oversee risk management, compliance, and change control processes.
Ensure effective communication and alignment between client sponsors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver executive readouts, status reports, and handover documentation.
Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, and tools including MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Deep trading application experience, preferably FX derivatives; engineeringmanagement background preferred.
Must possess good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
