Recruitment for Contractual Position of Project Manager under the Project Setting up Early Translation Accelerator (ETA) entitled:- To transform academic discoveries in the field of industrial Biotechnology with possible commercial and societal impact into economically viable ventures and technologies at BBB, RCB.The Centre invites online applications from dynamic, result-oriented and dedicated eligible candidates for the Project Manager contractual position under the above mentioned project funded by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of the ETA project, ensuring all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Scout for potential technologies in the specific domain and consult the inventor (or) the academia to discuss the translational projects in such scouted technology and present to the expert Committee.
• Collaborate with external organizations, experts, stakeholders for specific expertise towards accelerating the Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
• Ensure efficient use of resources (financial, human, technical) in line with project needs and timelines.
• Manage comprehensive documentation on project selection, progress, monitoring & outcomes and share them with BIRAC on regular intervals.
• Identify potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and handle issues promptly to avoid project delays or disruptions.
• Manage Technology accelerator agreement with the originator/inventor entity or the academia and the industrial partner contributing towards the project.
  

Qualification

• PhD in lifesciences with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in reputed scientific organizations in managing life sciences projects, preferably in the areas of bioprocess technology/biotherapeutics/biopharma.
  

Experience

• Proven track record of successfully coordinating interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects within scope and deadlines.
• Strong project management skills, with expertise in overseeing the development and execution of life sciences projects.
