Project Lead HR/Payroll Software Products

As a Software Project Manager in this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing software product development projects from initiation to successful release. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Support) to align development with business goals. - Motivating and guiding a team of 25+ members, fostering collaboration and productivity. - Developing detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. - Monitoring and controlling project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule recovery plans. - Managing project estimates, ensuring accurate effort and cost forecasting. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders and providing timely project updates. - Implementing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to optimize performance and delivery. - Utilizing Jira, MS Project, and AI/automation tools to streamline workflows and reporting. To excel in this role, you should have: - 10-12 years of total experience with a specific focus on: - 6-8 years in software development. - 4-6 years in software project management. - Hands-on technical expertise in Cloud & mobile development (AWS, Java, SQL, CI/CD) and UI frameworks and UX tools. - Strong skills in estimation, EVM, schedule recovery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management. - Proficiency in Agile practices and modern AI-driven automation tools.
