Project Interface Manager

Role Overview: Hitachi Energy is looking for a Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to lead the project engineering team in delivering all project requirements according to contractual, quality, HSE, financial, and schedule standards. As a PEM, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the engineering scope of complex projects while ensuring optimal progress and impact on project deliveries. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate, plan, manage, and control the engineering scope of the project - Coordinate tasks, resources, stakeholders, and engineering elements - Manage conflicts, make trade-offs, and evaluate resources effectively - Maintain a transparent project status and make decisions to prioritize progress - Drive a positive impact on project deliveries by understanding and influencing time, cost, and scope - Take full responsibility for the engineering part of an EPC project - Report to a Project Director (PD) and collaborate with Project Engineering Managers (PEM) and Project Interface Managers (PIM) - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business Qualifications Required: - B.Tech /M.Tech in Electrical with 5-15 years of experience and at least 5 years of Project Management experience - Good knowledge of HVDC and Project Management - Proficiency in Project Management and Design software - Strong teamwork, analytical, and communication skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions - Experience with HVDC and/or PMI/PMP certifications is advantageous Note: Qualified individuals with disabilities requiring accessibility assistance or accommodation during the job application process can request reasonable accommodations by completing a general inquiry form on the Hitachi Energy website.
