Job Description

Role Overview: As a Mid-Level Accountant at our company in Madurai, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations. Your main responsibilities will include preparing general ledger entries, financial statements, conducting internal audits, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain general ledger entries with proper classification and documentation of transactions - Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures - Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis - Prepare and file tax returns including GST, TDS, and income tax returns in compliance with laws and regulations - Provide assistance during month-end and year-end closing processes by handling journal entries and reconciling accounts Qualification Required: - B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) degree - Professional qualification will be a plus - Minimum of 4-10 years of progressive accounting experience - Experience working as an accountant - Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including Indian and foreign accounting standards - Proficiency in Accounting & CRM software, MS Office suite, and knowledge of Tally - Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices, regulations, and market dynamics Please note that the salary offered will be commensurate with your experience and skills. This is a full-time on-site position based in Madurai.,
