Responsibilities

• Assisting JREDA in promoting RE & EE endeavour and activities at the state as well as field level which includes assessing and obtaining resources and utilizing them in conceptualization and preparation of projects and its implementation.
• Monitoring the progress of the projects under JREDA, conducting physical and financial audits of the projects to ensure full accountability and assisting JREDA to resolve any issues in implementation of RE & EE projects including Hydro projects.
• Operational support in organizing training programs/ workshops/- business meets,camps etc. for various stakeholders.
• Coordination and data collection from field offices and preparation of progress reports of all ongoing projects - capital works, strategic interventions, monthly review meetings etc.
• Assistance in preparation of minutes/ presentations / documents/MoM etc. for meetings/ discussion with the management.
• Assistance in Bid Process management including Support in interfacing with the procurement portal (such as preparation of bid Document, NIT floating, preparation of pre bid queries and reply and uploading corrigendum, Evaluation of Bids, and all related preparation for award of contract.
• Preparation of proposal of different projects as per the requirement of JREDA for approval from central/state govt. /Other Departments/Organizations.
• Material Quality & Inspection: Ensure quality assurance through material inspection, pre- dispatch inspection (PDI), and post-delivery verification as per technical and contractual standards of different projects of JREDA.
• Support in field visit to assess site suitability for development Renewable Energy projects including resource assessment, suitability of land, shadow analysis, grid connectivity, etc.
• Project Assistance in various RE & EE projects (i.e. Hydro Project, PM KUSUM, PM Surya- ghar, Rooftop solar, Street light, High mast, Solar City, Solar Park, Solar Canal top, Energy efficiency etc.) executed by JREDA in the State.
• Assistance in processing application and handholding in Environment & Forest Clearance and land acquisition for renewable energy Projects and related liasoing support with other departments.
• Assistance in drafting of correspondence letters/replies related to different Government Departments.
• Other assistance as may be required to Director/Project Director from time to time.
• Project Monitoring, Project progress review, and resolving execution challenges and site/field related project implementation issues.
• Assisting in proposal preparation, technical assessment, Potential estimation, DPR preparation, Project feasibility assessment, site survey, data collection, Regulatory works with JSERC, Tariff petition works, reporting and project evaluation.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum six (6) years of work experience in experience in the any mentioned field of B.E. /B. tech / Engineering Graduate.
